Returns the path for a specified file, folder, or drive.
object.Path
The object is always a File, Folder, or Drive object.
For drive letters, the root drive is not included. For example, the path for the C drive is C:, not C:\.
The following code illustrates the use of the Path property with a File object:
[JScript] function ShowFileAccessInfo(filespec) { var fso, d, f, s; fso = new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject"); f = fso.GetFile(filespec); s =f.Path
.toUpperCase() + "<br>"; s += "Created: " + f.DateCreated + "<br>"; s += "Last Accessed: " + f.DateLastAccessed + "<br>"; s += "Last Modified: " + f.DateLastModified return(s); } [VBScript] Function ShowFileAccessInfo(filespec) Dim fso, d, f, s Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Set f = fso.GetFile(filespec) s = UCase(f.Path
) & "<BR>" s = s & "Created: " & f.DateCreated & "<BR>" s = s & "Last Accessed: " & f.DateLastAccessed & "<BR>" s = s & "Last Modified: " & f.DateLastModified ShowFileAccessInfo = s End Function
